A vertical 20m Moxon with very good low angle gain over a very wide angle
I'm not a great collector of cards, so don't send me a card unless you need a reply. I will respond to direct cards quite quickly and to cards via the bureau when I get round to it. I do like cards for any of my overseas operating - V5, EI or GJ.
I am writing a website with some history of the group and of amateur radio in Bristol. I have also started to put two large collections of historic QSL cards from the 1920's online.
I am licensed as M1EBV and M3ABC. I have also operated as V5/M1EBV from Namibia. I enjoy contests and take part in many of the activities of the Recently I have been a member of the EJ2MT team in '04,'05,'06 and of the winning GW6YB/P entry in the 2007 50MHz Trophy. The photo above, of me operating the 70 cms. station, was taken on VHF NFD 2003. The silver plate is the Martlesham trophy, won by GW6YB/P in 2002. I own several FT290R s and a Racal RA17 with an RA37 LF adaptor. I also own a Yaesu FT920 for HF and an FT857 for mobile work.
